Afraid to reminisce,
the memories of you,
remind me that I'm alone.
Afraid to sing again,
the guitar behind me,
forever in silence.
Afraid to feel again,
blood and scars open,
heart closed.
Afraid to believe,
unsure of everything,
the simple things took you away.
Afraid to fall asleep,
not knowing if I'll wake up.
from this self inflicted coma.
Afraid of losing you,
my worst nightmare,
has come true.
